Marco Auggiero

Trained in the best dance studios of New York (Brodway Dance Center, Alvin Ailey, Limòn Center, Steps), Paris (Studio Harmonic, Paris Centre), Berlin (Tanzfabrik, Marameo) and London (Laban center), he starts studying martial arts, which later combine with contemporary, modern dance, hip-hop and contact dance.
After several years of experimentation and international experiences, his philosophy comes out from usual schemes, reaching a very personal style and an avant garde movement quality: fluidity, decentralisation, dynamic and floor work. An own kinesthetic without leave technique and virtuosity.
His creations explore the psychology and emotions of the dancers, moving into human soul universe and perceptions. He always search for novelties, fusing dance with other expressive arts; through his dance research, he transport dance into a new theater dimension, a" total theater" where each element become important for the global vision.

From 2007, art director and creator of the international Stage & festival Arenile dance Festival.
Member of the International Dance Council (CID) from 2012, he's part of the catalog Global Dance Directory, and representative of European Dance Federation, setting in Paris.
Guest as judge for the main dance competition and as teacher in the main international stages & workshops (teacher for Group International des 8, France).
In September, 2014, winner of first prize of Oriente e Occidente, the most important competition for choreographer in Italy/Rovereto, with his last work OVO ; he was invited the next year as guest with the same work, starting 3 years of international tour, with a big return from public and review.
In 2017, he’s a guest as choreographer for the Meet&Greet of festival TanzBozen- Bolzano Danza. In 2018, prized in occasion of Arte Della Danza for a choreographic project Giovani Talenti from the institute Teatro Verdi/Salerno.
